Chhatwal & Jonsson is a love story between the East and the West which started in India on discovering the rich heritage of handmade textiles. Soon we started working with skilled craftsmen to combine the Indian heritage with a Scandinavian eye for color and design. The result is Chhatwal & Jonsson, a Swedish company designing and producing home textiles and carpets in India.

Our ambition is to create a simple, colorful and contemporary style. We like an ethnic vibe that is a fusion of both modern and ethnic styles. We like the mixing of old and new. We like the personal touch.
Two collections are presented each year with cushion covers, table and bed linen and carpets. To compliment the theme of the season accessories like vintage furniture, tribal art, lamps, pottery and throws are added.
All products are handmade. Any imperfections are a part of the beauty.
